Meet the Staff

Carlene

I have been a certified orthodontic assistant for over 20 years. I enjoy working with all ages, but being around kids is the best! They are so much fun, and I like to hear all about what's going on in their lives. It is amazing to see the changes they go through, both in their smiles, as well as their confidence. Dr. Catania enjoys his work and we all enjoy working with him. Our office is always upbeat and fun; we have a great time while we work! I am married and in my free time I enjoy gardening, making jewelry, traveling, and spending time with family.

Kim

I am a member of our clinical staff as one of Dr. Catania's orthodontic assistants. It is my job to help patients understand their orthodontic treatment and I feel it is important to help patients feel comfortable during their appointments. I enjoy developing relationships with our patients and their families. Our entire team has been working with Dr. Catania for a very long time, so we're really like a family here. I married my high school sweetheart and we have one son. I enjoy spending time outside gardening and camping.

Lee

As our scheduling coordinator, I will be one of the first people you will talk with or meet. It is my main priority to do my best to accommodate your busy schedule. Our entire team strives to give the office a warm and friendly atmosphere and to make your time with us a happy experience. We have made some wonderful, lasting friendships through the years and truly enjoy helping people leave with a smile. My other fun time is spent enjoying my wonderful son.

Midge

I am Dr. Catania's dental hygienist. I assist him with the placement, adjustment, and removal of our patients' orthodontic appliances. I love to see a patient transition into a more confident, happy person because of their new, beautiful smile. I have a son, Adam, and our dog, Cleo, completes our family. I enjoy following Syracuse University sports, biking, kayaking, hiking, gardening, and playing volleyball. I also love riding my motorcycle!

Missy

As the financial coordinator I am here to answer any billing questions and manage payments. I also help out at the front desk scheduling appointments and answering phone calls. I love coming to work every day because we are always having fun! We are like a family and we have the chance to make a difference in people's lives. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 wonderful kids. If I find time in our busy schedule, I also enjoy scrapbooking.

Nancy

I work in our business office handling accounts payable, payroll, and banking. I enjoy working with Dr. Catania and our team because of the positive difference we make in the lives of our patients. I take pride in the fact that we offer state-of-the-art orthodontic care in a caring and friendly environment. My husband and I, and our two dogs, enjoy living in rural Central New York with its natural beauty and all it has to offer in the changing seasons.

Sara

I am Dr. Catania's treatment coordinator and I have the privilege of welcoming new patients and families to our practice. I help guide new patients through their initial visits, discuss their individual treatment plan, and assist with financial and insurance processing. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Catania since 1989 and am proud to be a part of his orthodontic family. Patients actually look forward to coming to our office because we make having treatment so much fun! Dr. Catania relates well to each patient, whether a child, teen, or adult, and it is very gratifying to see the benefits of orthodontics and know that I contributed to the result.

Vicki

I am a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. I am also a member of the American Dental Assistants Association and have over 25 years of experience in orthodontics. I enjoy working with all new patients taking diagnostic digital images and helping patients become familiar with our office. I also work closely with the Treatment Coordinator as well as assisting the doctor. My favorite part of working with Dr. Catania is the knowledge that patients are receiving quality care in a beautiful office with advanced technology. Being part of a team that designs beautiful smiles is very rewarding. Outside of the office I enjoy bike riding, swimming, gardening, and dancing.
